Urgent update 12-5-23: There seems to be some serious recent problems getting the activation codes to work on both the CD version AND possibly the download version of this software. Please investigate further before ordering this item. If any customer or previous buyer has encountered activation problems with this software and figured out how to get it to work please let us know. If we get any further information we will update this listing. Urgent: We received a message earlier today (11-30-23) from a person who purchased one of these recently from us indicating an apparent problem with updating the download version of the Turbotax 2020 version. Apparently the download code works ok until you do the update but then the code no longer works. Apparently Intuit (the company that produces Turbotax) is aware of the problem and is hoping to have it solved within a week or two (as of today 11-30-23). This previous buyer seems to believe that the CD version may not have the same problem with the code as the download version. Those contemplating purchasing the 2020 version of Turbotax during the next week or two should keep this information in mind. Another potential buyer had also contacted us recently indicating that he had purchased 3 of the Turbotax 2020 products from different sellers and had also had problems with the install codes. Thus, the problem will certainly be the same regardless of where you purchase your Turbotax 2020 from. Our guess is that he was also trying to use the download version instead of the CD. In any case, the problem is apparently on Intuit’s (Turbotax) end and will hopefully be just a temporary problem.
